We process your personal information lawfully and only for these purposes (POPIA section 11):
We only send our newsletter to people who signed up for it (POPIA section 69). Every newsletter includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to stop at any time through our contact form.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers ("operators") who help us run the website and our communications, under agreements that require them to keep it secure and confidential (POPIA sections 20 and 21):
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Some of these providers store information outside South Africa, for example in the European Union or the United States. We only use providers that are subject to laws, binding rules or agreements that give your information a level of protection similar to POPIA (section 72).

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as the law requires (POPIA section 14). Contact form messages are kept for up to [period, e.g. 24 months]. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, damage and unauthorised access (POPIA section 19).
